THE OREGON CHIMNEY SWEEPS ASSOCIATION, Inc. (OCSA) is a non-profit  professional organization formed to promote the sweeping industry.      We are a professional organization dedicated to promoting high ethical standards within our association and raising the quality of life within our communities.      We provide educational services, participate in the legislative process, and work with local governments for the betterment of our members and the community.      We strive to be a positive voice to ensure and improve the safety of heating in your home now and for generations to come.      Membership brings recognition that you are a serious individual and strive to better yourself by staying abreast of information concerning the sweeping industry.      Membership brings recognition you are supported and referred by the State Fire Marshal's Office of Oregon for safety inspections of solid fuel appliances.      Membership allows you the avenue to become certified and the contacts that will help you succeed in your business.      Membership gives you a Directory Listing on our OCSA website that is listed on major search engines on the Internet, which will give enormous advertising capabilities.      Membership allows you to attend our annual May Day Event where you will find information and be able to make many business contacts and learn new skills and find more opportunities in the sweeping industry.      This meeting offers speakers addressing subjects of interest to the sweeping industry. A great way to make contacts and develop a rapport with other members.      Members are invited to promote their products or services through the trade show at this event.      Suppliers participate in the annual trade show and present products that will help build your business and further your success.      Membership in OCSA, as you can see, is a valuable tool if you are serious about performing work that relates to the sweeping or hearth industry.
